Jen - Day 5

Hi All -

Wanted to touch base with you before the weekend! Congratulations on making it through a full 5 day week of Phase I. Stay strong this weekend - it is easier to get tempted when you are out of routine. So, prepare in advance to stay on course! Remember, "nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!" So proud of you all!

I'll give you my day so far and then report on tonight's dinner with tomorrow's post. We are meeting Will and Erin (part of the 40 day team!) at a Phase I-friendly restaurant in just a bit.

B - Goat Kefir/berry/flax/almond butter smoothie
L - Two scrambled eggs
S - Cherries and carrots with almond butter

PS - Alex, thanks for the head's up on the "new" bean. I'm going to try to find some. Kim, so glad Hali is taking Maker's back with her! Give her a big hug for me. Melissa, love the sound of the devotional you are doing. Is it available in stores?

    Hi Jen -

    Glad all is well in your little corner of the world ... thank you again for your heart to lead this group/blog, I get so much from each post.

    The devotional is not available in stores ... YET! My sweet sister in law (Kathy Gladden) is one amazing woman. While she has a Phd. she has chosen to be true to her calling of motherhood and quit teaching to do so. While she has been "home" for the past 12 years or so, she has felt the call to minister to women in different areas. She speaks and lectures in her home state of Arkansas and is an inspirational daughter of Christ! She has written this Bible study and it's in the works to see if it will get published. I am going to ask her if she has another copy and I'll send it to you! I'm sure she would love the feedback. My other sister in law did it last year and they spoke on the phone weekly for the lecture background to the study and emailed as needed. So far it is amazing and knowing Kathy the way I do ... God has something amazing to say through her hard work! I'm excited your interested!!
