di-et [dahy-it] - noun: food and drink considered in terms of its qualities, composition and its effects on health.
Not to be confused with fad "diets," deprevation/binge eating,
or eating plans that lead to short-term weight loss and rebounding.

Jen - Day 13

Hey Guys -

Well, we've made it to the last day of Phase I! Congrats! The hardest phase is almost behind us. So proud of you all. You have hung strong and seen the results. I am hearing some great stories. I'll keep the names anonymous but weight loss-wise I know of one team member who has lost over 13 pounds and two who have lost close to 10. Pretty great for 13 days! We are all feeling better, sleeping better, having more energy... And best of all, we've made it through the detox! We have made huge strides toward breaking addictions and bad habits. Where there have been slips, we've gotten right back up and on track - which is the key! Go team! Now, on to Phase II!!

Here's my day yesterday:

B - Berry smoothie w/ greens
L - 1/2 cucumber, carrots, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries
D - Big mixed green salad with marinated portabella mushrooms

I'm headed to the grocery store now to pick up apples, oranges, black beans, sweet potatoes, grapes, walnuts... You get the picture. Phase II here we come!
